TESTIMONIALS & STORIES
"I recently used Casey at Wild Flowers to create the arrangements for a bridal shower that I was hosting for my sister-in-law. Her work is truly amazing! Casey took greenery and wild plants that were in season and made the most uniquely beautiful arrangements. I received so many compliments on the arrangements from the attendees and also the bride to be. I couldn't have been happier with her work: her attention to detail is exquisite, her eye for design is so unique and non-traditional, and her wonderful personality makes it so easy to work with her! I would highly recommend Wild Flowers to anyone who wants flower arrangements that everyone will be talking about and no one will have seen before! " - Tristin (maid of honor), Philadelphia, PA
“I’ve worked with Wild Flowers on a few events now and am always impressed by Casey's amazing talent, quality & professionalism. When it comes to flowers, Casey is truly an artist! As an Event Planner in a previous life, I can assure all future clients that their flower arrangements and design will be unique and specific to the Pacific Northwest aesthetic. I love the natural beauty and found materials in her designs. " - Stephanie (event planner), Seattle, WA
"Casey's floral arrangements for the wedding we hosted were nothing short of a masterpiece. As the farmland manager, I was skeptical when told that the wedding flowers would be mostly gathered from the farm's wild areas - the woods edge, wetlands and perimeters of the organic gardens. Casey gathered blooming fall weeds that I never look twice at, and from that created some of the most beautiful bouquets I have ever seen. All the while, she conducted herself with the utmost respect for our property and with a grace of spirit that immediately made me very fond of her." - Elaine (site owner) Gettysburg, PA
"For my daughter's wedding, Casey was able to pluck the finest vine, the thorniest bud and the most delicate indigenous fern from nature's floor
and juxtaposed them perfectly with cultivated blooms to create wonderfully animated, exquisite bouquets." - Karen (mother-of-bride) Gettysburg, PA
"I considered myself to be a 'non-traditional' bride and did things as low key as I could for my rustic wedding in October of 2014. We got married on a farm that's owned by a close family friend, not a wedding venue by any means; it's a cattle farm that also grows hay and organic produce in Pennsylvania's Susquehanna Valley. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on anything, let alone a wedding planner, so I did nearly everything myself. With my hands full of boring logistics (renting tables, chairs, port-o-johns, getting caterers, hiring someone to roast a whole pig, finding friends to help us power-wash the barn, etc.) I couldn't also do the flowers, so I hired Casey at Wild Flowers to take care of the decor. All of it. She took it on with a smile and was patient, inventive and she was my light at the end of the planning tunnel! She spent the final days leading up to the wedding foraging the grounds of the farm for wildflowers and any other branches and fauna that might lend creativity to her vision, a vision that came out of many conversations about who I am, what I like, how I envisioned my perfect wedding day. She supplemented the wild flowers with big white hydrangea stems and large leaf eucalyptus at my request (which was my only specific request of her, I knew she was the one and only person who could take my loose ideas and run with them so successfully) and made the most beautiful arrangements I've ever seen; including my bouquet, the corsages, and vases filled with overflowingly gorgeous wildflower displays. I can't speak more highly of her work as an artist and as a floral designer; she's got imagination and she's got the mind to understand who you are and what you want, no matter your vision, your aesthetic, your background or your budget! I wish I could get married all over again, in a different venue, in a different state, just to see what Casey would design!" - Gabrielle (bride), Gettysburg, PA
